Advice for Road Runners: The On Women's Cloudeclipse Running Shoes are the softest, max-cushioned road running shoes from On. Expect the cushioning to feel smooth and plush.
Underfoot Feel
The midsole construction should result in very protective and comfortable cushioning. Three things significantly contibute to the Cloudeclipse's midsole performance:
- A double layer of CloudTec Phase® cushioning. The main component parts of this cushioning system collapse in sequence to absorb impact. The double layer creates a high-stack midsole - resulting in plush cushioning.
- The midsole foam is On's Helion™ superfoam - which will feel soft underneath your feet.
- On's Speedboard® adds stability and guidance. For the avoidance of doubt, the Cloudeclipse are still considered to be neutral running shoes.
Upper Fit
The upper has a very accommodating fit. An engineered mesh upper provides breathability. Functional embrodery zones provide additional support at the forefoot.
The built-in tongue connects to the upper to create a secure fit for your feet.
The upper is dope dyed - a process which uses 90% less water in comparison to traditional techniques.
Ideal Run Type
The On Women's Cloudeclipse Running Shoes offer maximum-protection and lots of propulsion. This makes them suitable for both slow and steady paced runs. They should feel particularly comfortable during longer distance efforts.
If you want to take as much stress off your working muscles as possible, these are an excellent choice.

Sizing Advice
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
